Tornado Warning for... eastern Morehouse Parish in northeast Louisiana... northern West Carroll Parish in northeast Louisiana

The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... eastern Morehouse Parish in northeast Louisiana... northern West Carroll Parish in northeast Louisiana...

* until 815 PM CDT

* at 748 PM CDT... National Weather Service meteorologists detected a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado 6 miles west of goodwill moving northeast at 65 mph.

* The tornado will be near... Kilbourne by 805 PM CDT...

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Tornado Warning means that a tornado is occurring or imminent. You should activate your tornado action plan and take protective action now.

If in Mobile homes or vehicles... evacuate them and get inside a sturdy shelter. If no shelter is available... lie flat in the nearest ditch or other low spot and cover your head with your hands.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 200 am CDT Monday morning for southeast Arkansas and northeast Louisiana and western Mississippi.
