the National Weather Service in chicago has issued a
* severe thunderstorm warning for,
northern boone county in north central illinois,
eastern winnebago county in north central illinois...
* until 730 AM CDT
* at 624 AM CDT, National Weather Service doppler radar indicated a
severe thunderstorm capable of producing quarter size hail. this
storm was located near rockford, and moving northeast at 20 mph.
* locations impacted include,
machesney park, loves park, poplar grove and capron.

severe thunderstorms produce damaging wind in excess of 60 miles per
hour, large hail, deadly lightning, and very heavy rain. for your
