...Record high temperature set at Rockford IL...
As of 200 PM...the high temperature of 79 degrees at Rockford
Airport set a record for the highest maximum temperature for the
date. The previous record high temperature was 75 degrees set in
1945.
Note...with another few hours of heating left...the 79 degree mark
will likely be surpassed.
